Harlan has over 20 years of legal expertise in alcohol beverage and hospitality matters and works closely with clients to develop practical business solutions to complex issues specific to the industry. Harlan regularly appears before state and local liquor control commissions, appellate bodies, and other administrative agencies on licensing and compliance issues.
Harlan has extensive industry trade practice experience and provides regulatory advice and specialized transactional services to suppliers and retailers. He is also an experienced litigator, having represented various industry members in administrative law actions, appeals, franchise litigation, and other business disputes. Harlan is a frequent public speaker at alcohol beverage continuing legal education seminars and industry conferences.
