In mid-March, Anne Junia will join esteemed industry thought-leaders in Arlington, Virginia for NABCA’s 30th Annual Symposium on Alcohol Beverage Law and Regulation where she will moderate expert panelists Brian Wissman of the TTB and Rob Pinson of Adams and Reese, LLP in a discussion titled, TTB Reporting & Tax Considerations in Buy/Sell Agreements. As session moderator, Anne will highlight critical procedures for attorneys advising industry members on federal/TTB reporting and tax requirements that arise in the context of mergers and acquisitions. Anne will guide the panelists through discussions on important due diligence before an acquisition and how to address unexpected consequences that frequently emerge in the absence of appropriate due diligence and tax noncompliance.
